The building of the Kharkiv metro was destroyed as a result of a rocket attack: investigators record the consequences of night shelling
As a result of the explosion, a 61-year-old man was injured. He was taken to the hospital with physical injuries.
On June 20, around 23:55 due to enemy shelling, one of the buildings of the Kharkiv metro was destroyed. Damaged roof, partially destroyed walls, knocked out window frames. The blast wave damaged the wall opposite the exit from the depot. Partially destroyed cars. As a result of the shelling, a 61-year-old depot worker was injured.
Employees of the Investigative and Operational Group of Kharkiv RUP No. 2 inspected the scene and collected material evidence. The work of the police was carried out jointly with employees of the State Emergency Service.
On this fact, criminal proceedings were opened under Part 1 of Art. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of eight to twelve years.
The collected materials will be transferred to the Department of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kharkiv region.
