Ukrainian-Polish border: protesters begin to block traffic more tightly

Polish protesters have begun to block traffic more tightly on the border with Ukraine. Ukrainian border guards received such information from representatives of the Polish Border Guard.

As part of the protest action of Polish farmers, the movement of trucks through the Medyka-Szeginy checkpoint was completely blocked in both directions. The deadline for the lockdown was not announced.

At the checkpoint “Dolgobichuv-Ugriniv” protesters voiced their intention to block traffic for all modes of transport until 17 pm on February 20.

“Zosin-Ustylug”. Here, from 13.00 to 16:00 Kyiv time, protesters intend to restrict the movement of buses, trucks and passenger vehicles in both directions. They promise to pass only trucks with humanitarian aid.

“Korcheva-Krakivets”. By 21.00 (Kyiv time) on February 20, protesters plan to block the movement of all trucks leaving Poland, except those carrying critical loads. Buses, minibuses, cars in both directions will be able to move smoothly.

“Comb-Rava-Ruska”. Protesters from 13 o'clock (Kyiv time) on February 20 completely blocked traffic in both directions of all categories of vehicles, except those carrying critical goods and humanitarian aid.

“Dorogusk-Yagodin”. By 19.00 Kyiv time, the organizers of the protest intend to completely block the movement of freight transport in both directions.
