Ukrainian and Polish rescuers held joint training
Ukrainian rescuers joined the program for the development of volunteer fire teams. Its creation was initiated by the first ladies of Ukraine and Poland.
As part of the event, four training cycles have already been held for 60 Ukrainian firefighters from Volyn, Rivne, Khmelnytsky and Ternopil regions. The topic of training covered issues related to rescue and fire activities, as well as practical aspects of the creation of volunteer units in Ukraine.
In addition, the Ukrainian group got acquainted with the voluntary units of the Opole Voivodeship. This should improve the creation and development of voluntary fire teams in the Volyn region.
Practical training at the fire range was attended by the First Lady of Poland Agata Kornhauser-Duda.
