Ukrainian rescuers, together with firefighters from Romania, are being trained to extinguish forest fires at a special training and training ground in the city of Siret.
This is the first training session out of 10 planned within the framework of the international project “Improving the level of population security in the cross-border region through joint training and cooperation activities in the field of emergency management — BRIDGE”. Rescuers are trained by certified instructors from Romania.
Participants take practical and theoretical courses, exchange experience, improve fire fighting skills, including in cooperation with aviation.
