Ukrainian rescuers continue to eliminate the effects of floods in the Republic of Slovenia
During August 14, Ukrainian rescuers continued to clear, widen, change the channel and shore fortification of the Savinha River at two locations.
During the day, 250 meters of the riverbed were cleared and expanded (660 meters since the beginning of the works), 2050 cubic meters of garbage were moved (from the beginning of the works - 4680 cubic meters), 100 meters of dam were equipped (from the beginning of the works - 160 meters) and 120 meters of the shore were fortified (since the beginning of the works - 390 meters).
Also, the flood-destroyed house, which was located in the riverbed, was analyzed.
At the request of the ERCC Coordination Center, assistance was provided in the transportation of two large-sized military engineering equipment by SNSS trawls to the area of emergency recovery works (total route about 600 km).
