Ukrainian rescuers continue to eliminate the effects of floods in the Republic of Slovenia
During August 13, the assembled SNS detachment carried out work to clear, widen, change the channel and shore fortification of the Savigna River at two locations.
During the day, 260 meters of the river bed were cleared and expanded (from the beginning of the works - 410 m), 2600 cubic meters of garbage were moved (from the beginning of the works - 2630 cubic meters), 60 m dams were equipped (from the beginning of the works - 60 m.) and 120 m of shore were fortified (from the beginning of the works - 270 m.).
A meeting was also held with the liaison officer of the coordination center of the EU Civil Protection Mechanism. Work continues.
Recall that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed the Decree on the provision of humanitarian assistance to Slovenia due to the emergency situation caused by the flood. So 51 Ukrainian rescuers and 19 units of equipment are carrying out restoration work in the Republic of Slovenia.
