Ukrainian police received equipment from European partners
The German partners handed over medical equipment, protective equipment — body armor, tactical goggles, etc., satellite communications, computer equipment, night vision devices and other equipment to the Ukrainian police.
Acting Head of the Lviv Regional Delegation of the Consultative Mission of the European Union (IMEC) Markus Roloffs, Honorary Consul of Germany in Lviv in Lviv, Miroslava Djakovych and Vice Chancellor of Germany in Lviv took part in the transfer of assistance from the Federal Criminal Police Department of Germany to the National Police of Ukraine Head of the Main Department of the National Police in Lviv Oblast Volodymyr Ilchyshyn.
“The advisory mission of the EU Council is to promote the interaction of the Ukrainian and German police. Effective cooperation, support and exchange of experience by law enforcement officers is extremely important in this difficult time. We hope that this assistance will be the key to an even better and more effective work of the police to protect the citizens of Ukraine,” said Mr. Marcus Roloffs.
“Germany is and will always be a reliable partner of Ukraine, will continue to help it to win. I want to emphasize the paramount role of the National Police, whose representatives defend the Motherland both at the front and in other corners of our country, risking their lives and health. We are proud of them,” Miroslava Diakovich addressed those present.
Among other things, the German partners handed over to Ukrainian police medical equipment, protective equipment — body armor, tactical goggles, etc., satellite communications, computer equipment, night vision devices and much more for a total amount of about 500 thousand euros.
“We are grateful to Germany for the assistance that will strengthen the combat capability of Ukrainian police officers, in particular those who serve in the territories where active hostilities are taking place,” said Deputy Chief of Police of Lviv Oblast Volodymyr Ilchyshyn.
