Ukrainian national team won 34 medals at the “Games of the Unconquered” (VIDEO)
The Ukrainian national team completed performances at the “Invincible Games 2023”, held on 9-16 September in Düsseldorf, Germany. The team was represented by the largest composition in its history: 25 participants, including 3 servicemen of the National Guard.
Despite the fact that the main goal of the “Games of the Unconquered” is not the winning of medals, but the rehabilitation of wounded military and veterans, during the seven competitive days, the participants were awarded for the highest results in different categories, depending on the nature of injuries or injuries.
At this tournament Ukraine won 34 medals: 12 gold, 14 silver and 8 bronze, among which 3 gold medals and 2 bronze belong to the National Guard.
Veteran of the National Guard of Ukraine Volodymyr Tovkis won “gold” in classical archery, rowing on simulators (endurance, IR3 + sprint, IR3) and “bronze” in discus throwing. At the same time, Vitaliy Borodavka, a national guard, was also awarded a bronze medal in the 100 meters race in the IT7 open class among men.
