Ukraine and Lithuania start exchanging driver's licenses under simplified procedure
This was announced on his official Telegram channel by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko.
From now on, Ukrainians in Lithuania can exchange their driver's license using a simplified procedure. You can get a Lithuanian certificate without passing theoretical and practical exams. Yesterday, the relevant agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Lithuania entered into force.
To use the service, you need to contact the branches of the State Enterprise REGITRA in Lithuania. And in Ukraine - to the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
A similar procedure is already available for Lithuanian citizens living in Ukraine, it is provided by the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“Agreements on mutual recognition and exchange of simplified driver's licenses are in force with four other countries — Italy, Turkey, Spain and the UAE. We plan to continue to establish cooperation with foreign governments and expand this list. We strive for the service services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to be accessible and comfortable for all our citizens, in any corner of the world,” said the Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Igor Klymenko.
