Since the morning of January 31, more than 120 tons of humanitarian aid have been sent to Ukraine, which the Government of the Republic of Poland transfers at the request of the Ukrainian side.

From the checkpoint on the border “Dorogusk-Yagodin”, the cargo is accompanied by rescuers of the State Emergency Service.

Thus, a column of 29 trucks heading to Kiev delivers medical supplies, camp beds, blankets and bedding.

Ukraine will also receive 2 million masks to protect against COVID-19. The cargo is expected to arrive in the capital on February 1.

In a letter to the State Emergency Service, the Polish side expressed hope that this support will help the citizens of Ukraine in the current crisis situation, as well as the ongoing fight against the coronavirus disease.
