In the Odessa region, the operatives of the Odessa Border Detachment exposed the channel of illegal departure of men outside Ukraine. This time, the fraudulent scheme was based on fake marriages.
Law enforcement officers have established that the organizer of the transfer of potential recruits abroad is a 34-year-old resident of Odessa region. She personally sought out men who wanted to avoid mobilization and leave the country, but were restricted in that right.
The abuser offered them to marry women with disabilities to cross the state border in the status of “escort person”.
“Swaha” for 4500 US dollars promised to find “brides” with the right disability group. Such a “marriage agency” operated throughout Ukraine, offering women with disabilities between the ages of 18 and 57 to earn “easy money”.
The organizer of the criminal scheme was detained while receiving funds for the marriage of one of the couples.
As a result of the authorized searches in the homes and vehicles of intruders, originals and copies of passport documents, marriage and divorce certificates, marriage contracts, disability certificates, conclusions of the ISEC and the VLC on the provision of invasiveness were found and seized. of youth.
Currently, the organizer of the “marriage agency” and the “wife” with a disability have been declared suspected of committing a crime under Part 3 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The illegal scheme was exposed according to the operational information of the border guards of the Odessa detachment together with the employees of the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police under the procedural leadership of the Malinovsk District Prosecutor's Office of the city of Odessa.
