Participants of hooliganism in the territory of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra face up to five years in prison

Law enforcement officers detained four active participants of hooligan actions on the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. Investigators informed them of the suspicion.

Recall that yesterday, April 19, after the completion of the commission of the Ministry of Culture, a group of persons damaged the protective shutters and entered the premises, which were inspected and sealed by the representatives of the commission. The investigative and operational group of the Pechersk Police Department worked at the scene.

Law enforcement officers conducted a number of investigative actions and, with the help of analysts of the capital's chapter, identified four of the most active participants who committed offenses. They were detained under the order of Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and delivered to the police department. They turned out to be two women, born 1986 and 1984, and two men, born 1983 and 2001.

In agreement with the Pechersk District Prosecutor's Office, the investigators informed the detainees about the suspicion of committing the crime provided for in Part 3 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - hooliganism. The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for up to five years. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
