More than 1000 Points of Inviolability on the basis of the State Emergency Service are already functioning in Ukraine
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Oleksiy Sergeev reported on the air of the All-Ukrainian Telemarathon “United News”.
“We are preparing for the fact that the enemy may fire on energy infrastructure facilities and possible prolonged and unplanned power outages,” Sergeyev said.
He added that it was precisely because of these threats that the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko initiated and the Government supported the creation of a Coordination Headquarters for operational response and assistance to the population during power outages.
It is thanks to the activities of the Coordination Headquarters that control of all bodies of state power, local self-government, territorial communities, law enforcement agencies in providing assistance to our citizens during the autumn-winter period is carried out. The situation regarding the work of the Inviolability Points and shelters will also be monitored.
“Today, 13,300 points have been created, work is being carried out on proper provision and staffing. Citizens in these places will be able to charge their gadgets, use the means of communication, get hot drinks and primary medical care,” the Deputy Minister said.
The bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also participate in the functioning of the Points of Inviolability. The State Emergency Service created 1254 such points, of which 1004 are already functioning since October 1.
“Emergency workers created 752 stationary points on the basis of the facilities of the State Emergency Service and 252 mobile ones. Another 250 are also mobile based tents and vehicles. They are ready for use during the aggravation of the situation,” says Alexey Sergeev.
Also, the Deputy Minister noted that in the near future, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, plans to reflect in the “Action” all shelters and Points of Inviolability.
