KHNUVS held solemn events on the occasion of the Day of Unity of Ukraine and the graduation of students of the Master of Faculty № 6
Today, January 21, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held solemn events on the occasion of the Day of Unity of Ukraine and graduation of students of the Master of Faculty No. 6. On the main square of the university, the management staff of the university, headed by the rector of the doctor of legal sciences, professor, police general of the third rank Valery Sokurenko, employees, cadets, students, graduates of the master's degree, their parents and relatives gathered.
The participants observed a moment of silence in memory of the defenders who gave their lives for a free, independent, cathedral Ukraine, and laid flowers at the monument to the heroes.
Diplomas were awarded. 391 graduates of the master's degree, including 17 excellent students, received one of the most sought-after specialties in society: “Law”, “Law Enforcement”, “Psychology”, “Cybersecurity”, “Finance, Banking and Insurance”.
The rector of the university congratulated the graduates on the successful completion of their studies, wished good health, peace, good, harmony, life success and career growth and noted that this important event takes place on the eve of the Day of Unity of Ukraine. On January 22, 1919, a solemn proclamation of union took place on Sofievsky Maidan Ukrainian lands: together, of their own volition, the Ukrainian People's Republic and the West Ukrainian People's Republic were united into one single independent state. Unity has become a symbol of the struggle for will, understanding between people, hope and faith in the future.
“Every day we prove to the whole world that our strength is in unity, that Ukraine is united, and we are moving forward, creating new opportunities for those who know, know how, and, most importantly, sincerely wish to succeed and make the world better,” Valeriy Sokurenko stressed.
The Head of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of Faculty No. 6 Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Elena Evdokimova congratulated the graduates. She noted that “the secret of success in life is simple — you need to believe in yourself and your country, and this will help you reach the highest professional heights.” Elena Evdokimova also expressed confidence that with their high achievements and achievements, the graduates of the university will fill more than one page of the annals of fame and achievements of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. On behalf of the graduates, Anna Barkova thanked the university management, teachers for the knowledge and experience gained.
Art groups have prepared a creative gift for graduates. On the occasion of the Day of Unity of Ukraine and graduation of students of the Master's degree, cadet units of all faculties of the university passed a solemn march on the square.
