Modern and innovative methods of physical, medical-psychological rehabilitation and rehabilitation treatment of wounded policemen and servicemen under martial conditions were discussed by doctors and rehabilitologists of health institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine at a two-day seminar meeting in Khmelnytskyi.

The event was opened by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Inna Yashchuk: “The task of doctors now is not only to provide medical services, not only to save lives, but also to restore the physical and mental health of our wounded, in order for people to fully recover in the social space and be able to find employment. The task of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is to help doctors, to contribute to the development of the material and technical base of departmental medical institutions, to strengthen their professional potential”.

Seminar-meeting was held at the State Institution “Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Khmelnytskyi Oblast”.

In 2017, one of the first powerful rehabilitation centers in Ukraine was opened on the basis of this medical institution with the support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, whose specialists use innovative methods of rehabilitation and rehabilitation of police and military personnel after injuries.

Particular attention is paid here to the preparation of the injured for prosthetics and their adaptation to normal living conditions after the installation of prostheses.

Recently, the Hydrotherapy Department was opened in the Center, in which, with the help of various water procedures, modern hydrokinesiotherapy, the process of recovery and rehabilitation of patients is significantly accelerated and improved.
