In Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs there was a meeting of cadets with a pilot of the 2nd class, Major of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces Vadim Voroshilov
The pilot with the call sign “Karaya” visited Kharkiv Police College to talk with cadets and share life and combat experience.
As you know, after successfully completed complex combat tasks in October 2022 over Vinnytsia region, locals called him “Ghost of Vinnytsia region”. For his personal courage and heroism in defending the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, selfless service to the Ukrainian people, the pilot was awarded the title Hero of Ukraine with the award of the Order of the Golden Star.
The event took place in a question-and-answer format — cadets learned about various aspects of the military service of Ukrainian combat pilots, their role in the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war, about modern aviation. The audience was also interested in the issues of professional training of military pilots, physical and psychological stress, quality and capabilities of Western technology.
At the end of the meeting, the first vice-rector Alexander Morgunov from the leadership and staff of the university thanked the pilot Vadim Voroshilov for his heroism and courage, wished victory over the enemy and presented the book — “Light in Each of Us”.
