In Vinnytsia, rescuers received new equipment from the City Council
The new crossover was received by the Vinnytsia emergency workers from the head of the city Sergey Morgunov. The car, as well as other purchased property, including office equipment, uniform clothes and shoes, power generators, heat guns and means of communication, were purchased for the needs of rescuers at the expense of the city budget.
One and a half million hryvnias - this is exactly how last year there was a subvention for the state fire and rescue units of Vinnitsa.
The chief rescuer of the region Ruslan Shevchuk noted that absolutely all territorial communities support rescue units. If we talk about the regional center, the number of personnel of the Rescue Service is almost 300 people. And everyone needs to be provided not only with everyday uniform clothes, but also with decent conditions of service. So, now they repair office premises, making them modern. For example, as it happens in the 1st state fire and rescue part of the city.
As for the premises of the depot part itself, Ruslan Shevchuk stated that its modernization is also important. Vinnytsia Mayor Sergey Morgunov pledged support in 2023. In particular, he stressed that the priority will be to provide the SNSS fighters with the necessary equipment and equipment, as well as overhaul with insulation of the garage of the fire and rescue unit No. 1.
