During the opening of the exhibition, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk thanked the participants of the exhibition for their feat, courage and patriotism, as well as for the efforts that are made daily for our victory: “Thanks to you, our victory will come faster. You are living legends that came down to us from photographs. Despite the fact that the 300th day of the war will soon come, we are still in the mood for victory. And with such heroes, we will win.”

Interior Minister Denis Monastyrsky noted that “Heroes among us is the key message of our exhibition. We recently opened it up to 200 days of war, and soon it will already be 300 days, and destinies, lives, moments fly by extremely quickly. We are all in debt to those people who are in these photographs. These are the people on whose shoulders the whole of Ukraine is holding, many of whom are no longer alive, because they put their lives on the altar of independence of our country. And every day is a tragedy, it is a memory, it is a hope. Hope and confidence in the victory that these people carry from the photos. But life goes on, our main battles are still ahead and our victory is still ahead,” said the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The idea of the photo exhibition “Heroes of the Ministry of Internal Affairs” was born in the first days of the Russian-Ukrainian war, when the mass heroism of the defenders finally broke the enemy's plans to capture Ukraine in “two or three” days. In the exposition there are 20 portraits of Ukrainian defenders and defenders with stories about their brave deeds. The QR code helps everyone to see directly the stories of policemen, national guards, rescuers, border guards, who showed courage and heroism during the performance of their official duties, even at the cost of their own lives.

Recall that you can also get acquainted with the inspiring stories of the Heroes of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on a special website, which was presented before 200 days of the war: https://mvs.gov.ua/uk/200-dniv-viini-v-ukrayini.
