Today, August 24, on the Independence Day of Ukraine, our rescuer Volodymyr Skovorodka finished in the capital of Poland — Warsaw. In 14 days, more than 800 km have been covered.

Vladimir started on August 11 in order to make the difficult journey from Kiev to Warsaw in 14 days. And it was for what! The purpose of the race was to raise UAH 2 million for equipment for Ukrainian rescuers and to thank the Polish people for supporting Ukraine during the war.

In addition, this is a record that will be included in the “National Register of Records of Ukraine 2022”.

All the distance, Vladimir and his colleagues were welcomed. Someone joined and ran nearby, someone met near the road. Such support only inspired our athlete, adding more strength! Together with him, colleagues went from Kiev, who also covered a considerable distance. So, Nikolai Voitovich traveled more than 220 km, Butok Ruslan more than 300 km, and Borkov Sergey more than 400 km. These are pretty powerful results, and we are incredibly proud of everyone!

Today in Warsaw, our rescue marathoner was warmly welcomed — with sincere emotions and support, congratulations on successfully overcoming the route.

Vladimir Skovorodka, challenged not only his own forces. It is a desire to thank and show respect to our neighbors from Poland, who have been supporting and helping Ukrainians in every possible way since the beginning of the war.

At the same time, the charity marathon aimed to raise UAH 2 million for special equipment for rescuers, and everyone was able to donate funds on ultramarathonforall.org

Thank you all for the incredible support and ferocious faith in our rescuers!
