The Zaporizhzhya Avenger mural was opened in the capital
On June 6, a solemn opening of the mural was held in the center of Kyiv by the youngest Hero of Ukraine soldier of the National Guard Roman Glomby. He is also known as the “Zaporizhzhya Avenger”
The authors note that this mural is an opportunity to tell the true story of a real 19-year-old boy - a National Guard soldier, who already in the first months of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine was distinguished by his skill in destroying enemy aircraft and missiles from the “Eagle” DPRK during the fighting in Zaporizhzhia Area.
Now the warrior continues to defend our country.
“A young guy from a village in Ivano-Frankivsk region, who at the age of 19 went to serve military service and since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion shot down 7 enemy aircraft with the Igla Air Force and was deservedly awarded the Hero of Ukraine star. Such people should be imprinted in the memory of Ukrainians,” said the deputy commander of the National Guard of Ukraine for work with personnel, Major General Oleg Sakhon, during the opening of the mural.
The mural depicts the Zaporizhzhya Avenger, who threads downed enemy planes on a needle. The idea was initiated by the Charity Hub team, which was also joined by Taras Topolia, the leader of the band “Antitila”. During the presentation of the mural, he announced the opening of a collection of UAH 3 million for strike and reconnaissance drones for the brigades of the “Guard of Offensive”. A QR code was applied to the mural, according to which you can make a donut on drones.
“The Ukrainian people already have hundreds of thousands of meetings, starting with a small gathering at the entrance for a neighbor who goes to the front, ending with large-scale collections worth billions of hryvnias. The charitable foundation of the group “Antytila” together with the National Guard of Ukraine and “Helsey” starts collecting for kamikaze drones and reconnaissance drones,” Taras Topola said.
