“It was not me who was driving, but the fine came to me,” - such complaints are usually written by drivers. However, in order not to receive “your” fines, you can assign a proper user of the vehicle.
A proper user is a person who legally uses a vehicle that does not belong to him.
If you assign the appropriate in the “Actions”, then the car owner should have:
— passport of a citizen of Ukraine (in the form of ID-card or foreign); — certificate of registration of the vehicle.
To the appropriate user:
— passport of a citizen of Ukraine (in the form of ID-card or foreign); — driver's license.
During the appointment, be sure to specify the period of use. And confirm it from both sides.
Importantly, the appointment of a proper user does not imply the transfer of property rights. And to go abroad, it is not enough to have a certificate of registration of a vehicle for another person and be a proper user.
