The occupiers struck first with S-300 missiles, resulting in the destruction of a two-story residential building in the center of Nikolaev. Rescuers were notified about this on October 18 at 02:40.

In total, 6 special equipment and 26 rescuers worked at the scene from the State Emergency Service. In addition, ambulance brigades, police officers, emergency brigades of JSC “Mykolaivblenergo” and PJSC “Mykolaivgaz” were involved.
