In the “Passport Service” more than 13000 driver's licenses were exchanged abroad
Service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs fruitfully cooperate with separate divisions of SE “Dokument” abroad. In 10 centers of the “Passport Service” in 6 countries of the world you can get the service of exchanging a Ukrainian driver's license for the same Ukrainian one.
And in 5 months of this year, almost 13.5 thousand drivers in Poland, Slovakia, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Germany and Spain have already successfully used the exchange service.
Since the beginning of the year, as of June 5, the largest number of driver's license exchanges took place in Poland. Here in 4 centers of the State Enterprise “Document” in Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw and Gdańsk, the service was used by more than 10 thousand drivers who needed to exchange their existing driver's license for a new one.
In second place is Germany — almost 1,200 new driver's licenses were issued instead of old ones, expired or because of a change in personal data. In this country, two centers of SE “Dokument” in Berlin and Cologne provide not only passport services, but also a service for exchanging a Ukrainian driver's license for the same Ukrainian one.
The top three in the number of driver's license exchanges abroad is “closed” by the Czech Republic. Prague has already issued more than 1 thousand Ukrainian driver's licenses in connection with the exchange.
In Slovakia, about 750 driver's licenses have been exchanged, in Turkey - almost 250, and in Spain - more than 40.
