In Germany, it has become easier to exchange a national driver's license
In the GSC, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that they have expanded the possibilities of exchanging driver's licenses abroad. Now this service is available at the State Enterprise “Document” in Cologne, Germany.
Cologne became the second city in Germany where you can exchange a national driver's license issued in Ukraine for the same Ukrainian one. Today, April 21, in the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia they began to provide state services in mobile and technical complexes of the Passport Service.

Visitor service here is carried out exclusively by prior appointment.
Opening hours of the center: Mon — Sat - from 9:00 to 18:00.
The driver's license exchange service is relevant when:
• the existing one has expired; • the inscriptions on the plastic sheet are erased and are not readable;
• the person has changed the data — last name, first name, patronymic;
• the driver wants to replace the old license with a new one.
Previously, a similar center has already worked in Berlin. Therefore, Cologne became the second city in Germany where you can exchange a national driver's license.
