Police seized drugs and psychotropic drugs worth more than 7 million hryvnias from a drug dealer in Lviv region
The defendant is a 19-year-old local resident. He offered for sale a wide range of prohibited substances, which he sold to wholesale parties through “master classes” — large bookmarks. Now the drug dealer is detained, and for what he has done he faces up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
Operatives of the Department for Combating Drug Crime in Lviv Oblast (UBN) received information that a 19-year-old local resident is engaged in the illegal sale of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. Law enforcers have established that the attacker cooperates with the Telegram channel for the sale of drugs and psychotropics. He received wholesale batches of “goods”, which he sold in the city through large bookmarks — “master classes”, and sent to customers from other areas by mail. For the “product”, customers were charged with cryptocurrency.
UBN operatives together with investigators of Lviv Regional Police Department No. 1 detained a drug dealer on one of the streets of Lviv: he was going to sell another batch of banned substances. During the inspection of the detainee and his belongings, the police found almost three kilograms of drugs and psychotropic drugs, and during the authorized search of the premises - more than four kilograms of various prohibited substances. Among those seized: “Alpha-PvP”, “LSD”, cannabis, mephedrone, matamphetamine, amphetamine, as well as almost 3 liters of tetrahydrocannabinol, more than half a hundred narcotic candies and 1,300 narcotic pills whose circulation is restricted.
All that has been recovered is directed to carry out relevant expert research. The estimated cost of seized prohibited substances at “black” market prices exceeds 7 million hryvnias.
Investigators informed the defendant about the suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues in particularly large sizes) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
