The National Museum “Chernobyl” presented a “live” photo exhibition for the 37th anniversary of the disaster
April 26 marks 37 years since the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. On the day of remembrance in the National Museum “Chernobyl”, the exhibition of photojournalist Alexander Sirota — “Time Machine” was opened.
The 28 photographs, which were taken by the photographer years after the accident, come to life on visitors' smartphones. To see how the city of Pripyat lived before the tragedy, you need to download the “AlbuMar” application, scan the QR code and point your gadget to one of the photos of the stand.
The digital exhibition attracted many visitors, including young people, who were interested in the details of the man-made disaster that destroyed the happy life of Pripyat and its inhabitants. You can look at the other side of the wreck in the museum for two months.
