Commanders of artillery divisions graduated in the National Guard
In the International Center of the National Guard for a month, the guards of artillery units of the military units of the National Guard improved their knowledge and skills in calculating topographic data and directing ground artillery to the target. The training was conducted by artillery specialists of the Training Center for the Training of Units according to the program of training commanders of computer departments. The solemn completion of the training collection and presentation of certificates was held by the head of the International Center, Colonel Oleksandr Kryachko, in particular, in his speech:
“The profession of a computer is very important in the artillery, because the life of the comrades and the performance of the combat task depend on the accuracy of their calculations. The knowledge and experience that you have gained during your studies, and they are unique, you will apply already in practice with your units. During the course, the guards were taught to calculate the direction of fire control, use and own control devices, calculate topographic data for shooting, as well as the implementation of standards for applying the situation, adjusting devices, and deducting amendments.
At the end of the training, the artillerymen made a test, where they solved tactical tasks to calculate the data necessary to bring ground artillery to the target. According to the chairman of the grading commission, Major General Alexander Rachko, head of the department of application planning of artillery and air defense units of the application planning department of the Main Directorate of NGU, all participants of the course have good knowledge and practical skills. As a result, the study group passed exams for good and excellent grades.
“It was very interesting to gain new knowledge, thanks to the teachers, we became professional calculators. The group was dominated by a good, working atmosphere of like-minded people. I prepared for the test carefully and passed perfectly,” he shared his impressions of the training of guards with the nickname Chorny.
All participants of the course received certificates of completion of training under the program of training heads of computer departments.
