National Guard sets up 130 mobile fire groups to counter strike drones
About this today, October 20, during a briefing on the situation at the front, the results of the performance of combat tasks by units of the National Guard and the implementation of law enforcement tasks, the acting director of the Department of Application Planning of the Main Directorate of NGU Mykola Urshalovych informed about this today, October 20.
“As part of the counteraction against the strike drones, more than 250 fire and about 130 mobile fire groups have been created. We already have results in the Yuzhnobuzh operational area,” said Mykola Urshalovych.
He also noted that the troops of the National Guard participated in the elimination of the consequences of the massive enemy missile strikes that began on October 10, on the facilities guarded by the National Guard, and provided evacuation and medical assistance to the civilian personnel of these facilities.
Mykola Urshalovych stressed that the forces and means of the National Guard provided reliable protection and defense of 302 important state facilities, 41 objects of state authorities and 94 objects of critical infrastructure.
In addition, he recalled that ongoing work is aimed at restoring life and normal life in the liberated settlements of Kharkiv and Kherson regions. Units of the National Guard are involved in stabilizing operations on their territory.
