In Mirnograd, Donetsk police officers delivered humanitarian aid to residents
Law enforcement officers distributed food to lonely elderly people, large families and families who were in a difficult situation due to Russia's military invasion of Ukraine.
The war dramatically changed people's daily lives. Under the targeted attack of the enemy, the Donetsk region was the first. Even in quieter settlements, citizens faced the problem of lack of food, someone was left without a way to earn money, there is not enough simple human support. The police are worried about those who are hardest hit right now — the elderly and large families.
In Mirnograd, law enforcement officers delivered humanitarian aid to residents. One of the grocery sets was received by a mother of two children with disabilities. The police are aware of the difficult situation in the family and always provide the help they need.
Also in the city there are many lonely elderly people who cannot even move beyond their home on their own. They are worried about by law enforcement officers: they deliver food and offer to evacuate to calmer regions.
Unfortunately, citizens refuse to leave their homes. One of the women said that she stayed in the city alone - buried her whole family, and did not want to leave.
All police officers are advised to go to safer places. The reasons for refusal may be different, but now you need to think about your life and health. Only evacuation will save the most important thing!
