Yesterday, September 9, the team of the National Team of Ukraine among veterans and “Tam Tam FC “Volyn” competed for the championship at the Avangard Stadium. The match was organized to raise funds for the rehabilitation of girls who went through the hell of Russian captivity.

Among those who did not break down, having survived months of horrors, the border guards of the Volyn detachment Alina Panina and Lyudmila Kravchuk. They returned to their native land last October. After a long recovery, both are already in service. However, what had to go through is not erased from memory.

The charity match was held in 3 halves, lasting 25 minutes each. The game ended with a score of 6:5 in favor of the National Team of Ukraine among football veterans.

Note that the teams included border officers, who also had to endure torture and bullying in captivity. Volyn Serhiy Shevchuk played for the national team of veterans, and Yuriy Madin, who is currently serving in Lviv region, joined the team “Tam Tam FC “Volyn”.

During the match, 100,000 hryvnias were collected, which will be equally distributed among the girls and directed to their rehabilitation.

We believe that Ukraine will soon return all our citizens from captivity!
