Firefighters rescued 17 people in Kryvyi Rih, including 7 children
On May 8, at 15:39, the Rescue Service “101” received a report about the fire of an apartment in a multi-storey residential building located on Nikolay Svitalsky Street in Kryvyi Rih.
Upon arrival at the scene of the incident of the three emergency departments, it was established that there was a strong smoke from the second to the ninth floor. At the direction of the fire extinguishing manager, three more duty departments were sent to the scene.
During the extinguishing of the fire, firefighters saved a total of 17 people, including 7 children. Three people were injured, including one child.
Also on the fire was found the body of a woman, born in 1945.
At 16:30 the flame was localized and at 17:00 it was eliminated on an area of 30 sq.m.
At the scene, 31 rescuers and 7 units of the emergency services were working.
