Security Center launched in Kyiv region
The center is open in the village. Students of Boryspil district. It contains a fire department and a police station in one building.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, every year more than 30 thousand fires are registered in the state, in which about two thousand people die. Building a network of Community Safety Centers will ensure an effective response to such emergencies.
The Head of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kiev region Petro Kisilev noted:
“The center is equipped with a video surveillance system. Therefore, its creation will help to more effectively and comprehensively solve the issues of protecting the population from dangers and will contribute to the establishment of close interaction between rescuers, police, doctors and the population of AHs.”
Taking advantage of the opportunity, rescuers held an educational and entertaining event on site for local children with gifts and competitions with the involvement of the pyrotechnic service unit.
