Today — 9 days since the tragic January 18, when the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky, his first deputy Yevhenii Yenin, State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yuriy Lubkovych, deputy head of the Patronage Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Tatiy died in a plane crash in Kyiv region Shutyak, Head of Department of Protection of the Department of Internal Security of NPU Lieutenant Colonel of Police Mykhailo Pavlushko, Senior Operational Commissioner for Particularly Important Matters of the Department of Internal Security of NPU Andriy Marinchenko, Chief Inspector of the Department Communications of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Nikolai Anatsky. And also - the commander of the aircraft is the instructor of the special purpose aviation squadron Alexander Vasilenko, the pilot of the same air squadron Konstantin Kovalenko and the flight mechanic Ivan Kasyanov. This is an irreparable loss for the state, the large staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the relatives and friends of these people — leaders, leaders, reformers, professionals, still very young in age, but filled with ambitious plans, talents and life prospects of formed and outstanding personalities.
On January 26, mourning events were held to honor the memory of those killed in the terrible aircraft crash.
In the morning of this day, the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, headed by Acting Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klymenko and with the participation of Acting Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Inna Yashchuk, other representatives of the department, friends and associates, relatives of the dead, visited the Baikove cemetery in Kyiv, where they found the eternal Denis Monastyrsky, his colleagues, laid flowers at their graves, prayed for the repose of the souls of the dead, and remembered these people with a kind word.
And in the afternoon in the capital's St. Sophia Cathedral there was a memorial service and prayer for all those who died as a result of the helicopter crash - both innocent victims of the circumstances, civilians, and officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who gave their lives to serve the Ukrainian people and were real professionals and patriots of Ukraine. The event was attended by heads and representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, government officials, leadership and representatives of the deputy corps of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, politicians and statesmen, relatives and relatives of the deceased, the public.
