Law enforcers exposed fraudulent call center in Kyiv
In the office space, law enforcement officers found about 50 equipped workplaces. Criminal proceedings have been initiated on this fact.
The other day, the police officers of the Shevchenko Police Department received a message from citizens that a call center operates in the office space on Oles Honchar Street. Law enforcement officers processed this information and documented illegal activities.
At the scene, police found about 50 workplaces equipped with computer equipment. Investigators searched the office and seized system blocks, hard drives, mobile phones and work notebooks.
According to this fact, the investigative department of the Shevchenko police department is investigating criminal proceedings. Those involved in the case are threatened with imprisonment for a term of 3 to 8 years. Measures are underway to identify persons who organized illegal “business”.
