In Kiev, a woman died during a fire in an apartment, another person was injured
Yesterday, October 11, at 21:33 there was a report of a fire on the street. Ivan Vygovsky. The fire occurred in one of the apartments on the 7th floor.
During the arrival of the rescuers of the emergency services, a woman jumped out of the window from which the open flame broke out. As a result of the fall, she suffered injuries incompatible with life and died. It was later found that before rescuers arrived, another woman had crawled through a cluttered door and left the property on her own. She sought help from doctors and with a previous diagnosis - burns of the upper respiratory tract, she was hospitalized in a medical facility.
At 22:53 the fire was eliminated on an area of 40 sq. m. The difficulty of extinguishing the fire was to densely clutter the apartment with garbage and other flammable things.
Also, dense planting of trees and power lines made it impossible to install a car ladder at the entrances to the house, in order to speed up the elimination of the fire from the outside through the windows of the apartment.
The circumstances of the tragic incident and the cause of the fire are established by law enforcement officers.
