Search and rescue work completed on the Dniester River in Ivano-Frankivsk region
Rescuers recovered and recovered the body of the girl, whose search has continued since July 16.
In total, during the search, rescuers carried out a visual survey of the surface of the reservoir downstream from the drowning site at a distance of about 50 km, with the help of UAVs, a survey of the river bed and coastal zone 40 km long was carried out. Monitoring posts were also provided on the Dniester River.
Today at 12:55 in the village of Staryi Martyniv Burshtynska TG, divers of the rescue team of the special purpose emergency and rescue unit found and raised the body of a child to the surface.
The search and rescue work involved 30 rescuers and a SNSS psychologist, 13 units of equipment, of which 5 floats and 1 UAV.
