One of the components of high-quality and effective training of future drivers is the interaction of service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with driving schools. To establish such cooperation on the basis of the regional service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Zhytomyr region, a meeting was held with representatives of driving schools in the region, where they talked about a number of changes that are soon waiting for candidates in the driver.

The GSC reported that, first of all, the changes will concern the procedure for passing theoretical and practical exams. In particular, during the entire time of the theoretical exam, there will be a video, audio recording not only of the person and the movements of her hands, but also of the examiner and his actions, as well as a video recording of the entire area of the examination classroom and the monitor screen of the workplace on which the person takes the theoretical exam.

Also, the entire procedure for passing the driving exam will be technically documented. They will capture on audio and video not only the student and the examiner, but also all their actions, including the movements of their arms and legs. In addition, video and audio recording of the road situation in front of and, if the design allows, behind the vehicle on which the practical exam is taken will be conducted. In short, the goal is to ensure maximum honesty and transparency of the examination procedure.

For such a complex fixation, an ultra-modern technical complex will be used, which is already undergoing testing. By the end of the year, it is planned to equip almost 150 cars with such equipment.

Another important point is the planned extension of the term, during which a person can receive a video file of the exam procedure to appeal the results.

In addition, they plan to cancel the number of attempts to pass practical exams. As of today, if a person has not passed the practical exam three times, he undergoes re-training in practical driving of a vehicle and again has three attempts.

If the corresponding norm of the law is adopted, the student who did not pass the theoretical exam the first time will be able to pass it again in 10 calendar days. The same situation will be with the practical exam.
All these and other changes are aimed at maximizing the transparency of the procedure for obtaining a driver's license and preventing speculation during the preparation and passing of exams. At the same time, there is no question of reducing the number of educational institutions or instructors.
