The only training center in Ukraine on the education of integrity under the patronage of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was opened in DonDUVS
On September 12, the Training Center “Education of Integrity” under the patronage of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and international partners was launched on the basis of Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
Its purpose is to promote the development and promotion of a virtuous worldview among the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system, to increase the understanding of the virtuous principles and standards of conduct that our employees must adhere to.
“The responsible mission of piloting the project of the Training Center with a certified training program was assigned to DonDUVS by the Anti-Corruption Program of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine for 2023-2025. I am sure that the center will become the hub and the “heart” of the development of integrity and ethics in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Kropyvnytskyi community”, - said the rector of DonDUVS Serhiy Vitvitskyi.
The State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Inna Yashchuk congratulated the university staff on the landmark event: “It is very pleasant that the Higher Education Institution, which has undergone several relocations, demonstrates the best examples of scientific and professional development, and took the initiative to create such a center. I wish that its activities will not be closed within the university, and the center itself will become a high-quality platform for anti-corruption activities in Ukraine”.
Anatoly Fodchuk, the head of the Corruption Prevention Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, held the first lecture for the students of the center on the topic “Education of integrity in modern conditions”. Addressing those present, he expressed the hope that this cell will become a supporting educational, methodological and scientific base in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the implementation of the system of principles of integrity among employees.
Rector Serhiy Vitvitskyi presented Anatoly Fodchuk with the Certificate of Honorary Lecturer of the Training Center “Education of Integrity”.
Oleksandr Tarasenko, Director of the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, also stressed the importance of the event: “The opening of the Training Center “Education of Integrity” is significant not only for the DPRs and Kirovograd region, but also for the entire system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Ukraine in general. We understand how important the fight against corruption is today. The Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs supports DonDUVS in all its endeavors and wishes not to stop there and continue to work for the development and victory of the country.”
DonDUVS thanks the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and international partners for their support of the NGO and their significant contribution to the development of the principles of good behavior of Ukrainian society.
