In Dnipro, police detained a woman who organized a channel for transporting men of conscription age across the state border
A resident of the Dnieper district offered servicemen for 7 thousand dollars to receive a certificate of unsuitability for military service.
With these documents, men were deemed temporarily unfit for military service on health grounds or completely unfit and excluded from the military record. As a result, a person evading a summons could leave Ukraine without hindrance.
For men who were interested in this service, the defendant offered to meet in the center of Dnipro to obtain the documents necessary for the production of a certificate and agree on the details of the crime. She valued her services at $7 thousand and assisted in the transportation of 8 men abroad.
On July 13, with the strong support of the employees of the special police regiment, she was detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
During the searches, the woman seized money in the amount of 260 thousand hryvnias, which she received for the production of a certificate and a temporary certificate of a conscript, mobile phones and a Tesla car.
Violators handed in a report of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal transfer of persons across the state border of Ukraine), punishable by imprisonment for a term of seven to nine years.
