In Transcarpathia, a passport was issued to a policeman who was injured in the performance of official duties. In the near future, he will go abroad for treatment.

24-year-old Andrey was born in the city of Marhanets. Here he graduated from school and college, entered the Dnieper State University of Internal Affairs. After successfully graduating from the university, he went to work in the police.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, the man was in the epicenter of the war. His native Manganese suffers almost daily from shelling by enemy artillery and aircraft.

On March 2, Andrei, along with his colleagues, was guarding a checkpoint at the entrance to the city when a heavy artillery shell occurred: their position was literally covered by Russian shells. The boy miraculously survived, but received numerous serious injuries.

During his life, Andriy first fought in Kyiv, then in Dnipro and Lviv. The guy underwent several operations, but his right arm is badly burned and does not function.

Currently, Andrei's condition is stable, however, whether the boy will be able to walk - at the moment it is not known. Doctors from Belgium are ready to undertake a complex operation on the spine and subsequent rehabilitation.

So the employees of the Main Department of the State Health Service in the Transcarpathian region issued the fighter a new passport and in the near future he will be able to go abroad for treatment.
