On the Day of Liberation of Avdiyivka, the “white angels” installed the Ukrainian flag on the nine-storey building near the “zero”

On July 30, 2014, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Right Sector fighters liberated Avdiyivka from Russian militants. And for 9 years now, the indestructible city has been fighting for its freedom.
In honor of this event, the police officers of the “White Angel” unit, risking their lives, raised a yellow-blue tie on the front line.
The flag was installed on a house destroyed by enemy shells, standing on the edge of Avdiyivka — on the border with temporarily occupied Donetsk.
“This flag will show the enemy that Avdiyivka is Ukraine,” said Hennadiy Yudin.
Thus, the “white angels”, indigenous Avdeivans Gennady Yudin and Dmitry Solovyi, convey the message that the police are in the city and working.
