Today, February 16, on the occasion of the Unity Day, about 8 thousand cadets, students, lyceans, representatives of the faculty and staff of higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took part in the celebrations - raised the State Flag and performed the State Anthem of Ukraine.

Unity Day is a young holiday, initiated by the decree of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. It should rally Ukrainians around the national idea and show Russian propagandists that we are one people. Against the background of growing hybrid threats, propagandistic and moral-psychological pressure on public consciousness, strengthening resilience and strengthening the consolidation of our citizens acquires special importance.

Joining, representatives of higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs today demonstrated to the whole world the indestructibility of the Ukrainian spirit, dignity, faith in their own country and readiness to fight back against the enemy.

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Kateryna Pavlichenko noted that all of us Ukrainians are different in many ways, but we are united in our thoughts, actions, loyalty to oath, desire to work for our country to become stronger every day.

“I am proud of our cadets, future law enforcement officers, who once again demonstrated their patriotism, loyalty to the Ukrainian people and willingness to serve and defend,” said Kateryna Pavlichenko.
