Installation of memorial plaques in all schools of the Chernivtsi region where the fallen heroes studied is one of the initiatives of the Chernivtsi National Guards. Thus, the brothers of the fallen heroes decided to perpetuate the memory of the fighters.
Children should know the names of all the brave sons of the Motherland who gave their lives for our future. From now on, their portraits will greet students every morning and inspire them with pride in their own people.
“We must educate future generations of Ukrainians so that they know who can live under a free, peaceful sky. Thus, the exploits of the soldiers will remain in the history of free Ukraine,” says the National Guard fighter.
The death of a soldier at the front is not just the loss of a loved one's family. At this point, the soldiers lose their comrade. Therefore, in the military unit, the Chernivtsi National Guards erected a memorial stele to the dead brothers: “On the shield... Forever in line!”
“Every day the Ukrainian people pay a huge price in the struggle for their independence. The best sons of Ukraine give their lives for the future of our children and grandchildren. This pain will not be extinguished, this pain will remain with us for life. It is our sacred duty to remember the heroes' feats and honor their memory. Every national guard should know that his feat will not be forgotten, and his family and loved ones will be taken care of if he has to lay down his life for Ukraine,” said Colonel Vadim Shvets, commander of the Chernivtsi National Guard unit.
