In the Chernivtsi region, a stateless identity card was issued for traveling abroad
Employees of the Kelmenets Department of UDMS in Chernivtsi Oblast issued a stateless identity card for travel abroad to a resident of Vartikivtsi village of Dniester district Vyacheslav Peretiatko.
The husband and his wife came to Ukraine in the distant 1999 year in the status of a stateless person, acquired in the Republic of Latvia on the basis of a passport of a citizen of the USSR, and received a residence permit for permanent residence in Ukraine. In 2011, Vyacheslav and his wife were documented with permanent residence permits indefinitely.
Registration of a stateless identity card for traveling abroad has become an important event for the man, because it will allow him to meet with relatives and friends living outside Ukraine.
Migration officers remind that in order to obtain a certificate, you must submit the following documents to the DMS department:
• permanent residence permit or temporary residence permit issued to a stateless person;
• documents confirming the payment of the administrative fee, or a document on exemption from its payment.
The certificate is issued within 15 working days from the date of acceptance of the application form and documents provided for by law by a stateless person or his legal representative.
