The first entrance in the house in Uman is practically destroyed - Igor Klymenko
This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko on the air of the national marathon “United News”.
The latest information on the number of dead and injured was reported by the Minister of the Interior: “The missile strike was at 4:30am, previously hit by a Russian X-101 missile. 7 people died, including one child. 17 people are receiving medical care, 9 from below are in hospital, one is in extremely serious condition.”
Regarding the people under the rubble, Igor Klymenko noted: In this entrance, on Komarova Street, 109 people previously lived, 46 apartments, of which 27 were completely destroyed. Rescuers are doing everything to dismantle the rubble. Work continues. The fire has already been eliminated, all depths have been deblocked, for now several tens of cubic meters of structures have been dismantled. About 50 rescuers are working, as well as police, utilities, all on the scene. At the same time, I can say that about 10 high-rise buildings have been damaged, the police and rescuers are making a detour, because the windows have fallen, we have to be sure that people are safe. More than 30 vehicles that were near this house were also destroyed or damaged.”
According to the minister, the rescue operation will last about one day. Rescuers are working, a coordination headquarters is working, the police are helping the rescuers, criminal proceedings have been opened for this crime. Forensic laboratories left Kiev in order to document the war crime of the Russian Federation against civilians as quickly as possible.
People who lived in this house are promptly assisted. In Uman, premises have already been allocated, in particular in educational institutions, the city and district management is on site, rescue, communal, medical services work at the scene. This war crime is under the control of the President.
