In total, services will be held in almost 13,000 temples. More than 17,000 police officers of various units, as well as national guards, rescuers and representatives of the DFTG will serve on holidays, including near religious buildings, because the main task is to ensure the safety of people in the conditions of war.

The interim acting head of the National Police Ivan Vyhivsky told about this during the video selection meeting of the heads of the structural and territorial units of the police.

“Our main task is to ensure public safety and order, taking into account terrorist threats, as well as possible provocations from the enemy. Therefore, almost 20 thousand law enforcement officers will be involved in ensuring law order, of which more than 17 thousand police officers,” Ivan Vyhivskyi said.

In addition, during the Easter holidays, about 7 thousand personnel and more than 2 thousand units of fire and rescue and special equipment will be on duty in the SNSS system, which are ready to act as intended.

“In case of aggravation of the situation, we will strengthen the forces and means of the units of the State Emergency Service to 13,000 personnel and up to 3 thousand units of equipment. If, for example, we take the Kiev region, then more than 420 people and more than 100 units of equipment will be on duty. And of course reserves have been created,” the department said.

There will also be a rotation of operational mobile groups from among the management team. It will be the round-the-clock work of such groups.
