“Tank combat is always adrenaline,” says the tanker of the Makar National Guard Rapid Response Brigade
The guard says that during a tank battle, he is overwhelmed with adrenaline. And especially during tank duels, where there is no chance of a mistake either for you or for the enemy.
“Makar” believes that in addition to professional skills, luck also plays a role in combat.
“We were on duty and received a command to assist the infantry, because of the threat of the enemy forces, which greatly outnumbered the number and number of units. On the way we saw that the terrain was 70 percent smashed by rockets and mines, it was a real meat grinder. We spotted the enemy in one of the houses and opened fire with a cumulative shell, because it was already loaded, and continued on the way to the infantry. Then the guys from the air intelligence showed us the footage from the drone - that shell flew through the window and hit the enemy's BMP behind the house, the BC detonated. In a sense, military temperament is also an important component of combat,” says the tanker Makar.
The guard says that his tank comrades are most motivated. For example, the story is shared, when the crew of another tank was beaten, the tank was destroyed, but everyone survived and tried to quickly find another tank to catch up and beat the tank that caused them this damage - this was very motivating for the guard.
“In Severodonetsk we lived and worked in a tank for almost a month. From the first days it became my home — we slept there, ate and spent military weekdays. I hope that I will also meet the victory on combat duty, together with my car and my brothers,” says Makar.
