Today, every citizen of Ukraine should have the skills of home care, - Denis Monastyrsky
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine told about this today, on August 5, on the air of the “United News” tele-marathon.
On the orders of Denis Monastyrsky, training of civilian employees of the apparatus of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, as well as employees of the apparatus of the National Police in the skills of providing medical care was organized. They are conducted by certified instructors in tactical medicine.
“Having visited the sites of missile strikes, I became even more convinced that every employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs should have the skills of first aid. I am sure that every citizen should also own them,” the minister said.
As the Minister noted, such trainings in the Ministry of Internal Affairs were initiated even before the beginning of the war. Now, however, the audience's response and perception of information is quite different than it was before the full-scale invasion.
“In five days of training, 720 employees completed training. In total, over the past year and a half, almost 20 thousand employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have mastered the skills of home care,” Denis Monastyrsky noted.
Such training is systematically carried out by employees of the National Police, the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, and especially the rescuers of the State Emergency Service, who rescue people from fires and from under rubble.
“We understand that the most precious moments are the first minutes after the injury. If the victim is properly provided with first aid, delivered to a medical institution on time, this will significantly increase his chances of remaining alive and healthy. Such knowledge is also a weapon against our enemy. Because the war is not only for the liberation of territories, but also for the lives of our people,” the minister stressed.
