The draft law on liability for violation of curfew has been approved: what fines are provided for
The draft law on the establishment of administrative responsibility for violation of curfew was approved by the Verkhovna Rada in the first reading. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Bohdan Drapiaty.
The draft law provides for the following fines for violations:
For individuals: 8500 - 17000UAH; in case of repeated violation: 17000 - 34000UAH
For business entities: 51000 - 102000 UAH; repeat: 170000 - 340000UAH.
Cases that are not a violation of curfew:
- if a person is heading to/from shelters during an air alarm;
- accompanies the wounded, seriously ill;
- carries out measures for the evacuation of the population or the rescue of property;
- provides medical (pre-medical) care
- is in a state of extreme need.
