The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is grateful to our international partners and friends for their constant and strong support and assistance during two years of full-scale war. Especially in terms of demining territories. After all, 30% of Ukraine's territory is currently contaminated with explosive objects — unexploded munitions and mines.

Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine from the Republic of Korea, 200 SsangYong pickup trucks, 10 mechanized demining vehicles MV-4 and MV-10, 2 special emergency and rescue vehicles with a manipulator, an ambulance, metal detectors, pyrotechnic equipment and equipment, metal and inflatable rubber boats, generators.

On November 20, 2023, Japan provided our rescuers with 40 special vehicles, 50 hand-held mine detectors, as well as containers and liquid for extinguishing the fire. On September 9 last year, Japanese friends handed over 24 trucks with an ISUZU crane installation to Ukrainian SSNS sappers.

With the support of the German and British governments last summer, the International Organization for Migration provided rescuers with assistance to eliminate the consequences of flooding in the Kherson region as a result of the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant by the Russians. The relief effort included 43 boats and engines, 11 pumps, 2,000 fire hoses and other equipment for the SNS.

On the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and in cooperation with the UN Children's Fund “UNICEF”, 10 regions of Ukraine received 15 mobile safety classes in October last year.

In these mobile safety classes, children acquire knowledge about the threats that mines and explosive objects carry, as well as learn safety rules and behavior in such cases. After all, Ukraine is one of the most mined countries in the world. 174 thousand square kilometers are under mine pollution or contaminated by unexploded mines and shells.

In September 2023, the State Ministry of Internal Affairs of Bavaria (Germany) transferred 30 vehicles to the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. All this equipment is distributed in the internal affairs system: for border guards, rangers and police officers.

As part of this aid package, police and fire trucks, motor pumps, emergency generators, sleeping bags, field kitchens and communication equipment were previously transferred to the units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Soon the next package of humanitarian aid from German colleagues in the form of vehicles will arrive.

And last summer, Estonian colleagues handed over assistance that will strengthen the capabilities of the SNS in the field of underwater mining. We are talking about more than 90 metal detectors and 4 specialized cars.

On February 16, 2024, a ceremony was held at the Situation Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine for the transfer of US technical assistance to the investigative units of the National Police. It is about 66 cars, 250 drones, 9 3D terrestrial laser scanning systems with software and a DNA laboratory. Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko thanked the US authorities and personally Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Bridget Brink for comprehensive assistance to Ukraine during two years of full-scale war. He noted that during this time, the law enforcement department of the US Embassy transferred more than $287 million of assistance to the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system.

Since the beginning of the invasion, Poland has handed over almost 300 units of fire and rescue equipment to the rescuers of the National Emergency Service. Also, more than three dozen fire and rescue vehicles were provided by France.

Spain has sent a field mobile hospital to Ukraine for border guards serving on the front line.

And from Switzerland, the Expert Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine received three automated systems for establishing the genetic profile of RapidHit ID.

Ireland has provided Ukraine with non-lethal aid worth more than 170 million euros and has actively participated in the demining process.

Sweden provided Ukrainian rescuers with ATVs, motor pumps, generators, sleeves, work clothes and other equipment aimed at eliminating forest fires. Norway handed over a mobile radiation control complex to Ukrainian border guards.

On February 24, 2024, on the second anniversary of the full-scale war, the European Union and Germany handed over 30 SUVs for the needs of Ukrainian police. These vehicles will operate in the de-occupied territories of Ukraine.

This is not the whole list of what was provided to the forces and units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine for two years by the countries of the free world.

We are sincerely grateful for your help and support! Together we are bringing our Victory closer.
